Cloud Lamp

Inspired by the poem of Xu Zhimo, Fortuitousness, Chinese young designer Zhao Liping has created a graceful cloud lamp.

Although we already may find many cloud shaped lamps in the market, for Zhao Liping they are far different from her understanding, perception and imaginary of clouds. In her mind, they indeed should be white and soft, floating gently in the sky...

She designed two kinds of cloud lighting, a standing one with a cleverish, raindrop shaped pull switch hanging on the cloud, a pending one formed by the projection of the cloud lamp above. What a poetry...
